III Week of Nonviolence in Iraq
celebrated 10-18 October all over the country

MADRID WOMEN IN BLACK AGAINST WAR

Continue lending their support to the 120 organizations of the civil society that are members of the LaOnf Network and who work for peace. In Arabic LaOnf means La (no) Onf (violence).

During the III Week of Nonviolence the LaOnf Network has declared:

Their rejection of the occupation, both in the air and on land, as a means to build democracy and establish a State of Law in Iraq.
The need for liberty and security for all Iraqis, so that they can freely exercise their right to vote during the upcoming local elections.
The need to work on the values of nonviolence and a culture of peace in all the social movements from childhood to college.
Respect for ethnic and religious minorities.
