In view of the assassinations in Colombia of a member of the Ruta Pacifica de Mujeres and of the International Network of Women in Black
Olga Marina Vergara,
her son, her daughter-in-law and five-year-old grandson,

we call a vigil in black and in silence
on Monday 29 September, from 18:00h to 19:00h
in front of the
Embassy of Colombia in Spain
Pº Martínez Campos, nº 48 - 28010 Madrid

To publicly declare:
♀ our support for the family and the women of the Ruta Pacifica de Mujeres
♀ our grief and rejection of the assassinations

To deliver a letter to the Ambassador, Sr. Don Carlos Rodado Noriega, requesting:
♀ that these happenings be investigated and the motive determined
♀ that these assassinations not remain in impunity.

Our interest is to establish a political and ethical commitment to draw an end to impunity and social permissiveness regarding violence against women, which is intensified in the conflict Colombia confronts”.
