AND WE DECLARE THAT: Gender violence affects us all, male and female, and for that reason, as feminist and anti-militarist women, we call on everyone to construct another way of seeing the world. WOMEN IN BLACK AGAINST WAR (of Madrid) convinced that peace can emerge only from within the civil society of Iraq and in a non-violent fashion, support the work of LaOnf. Sexuality is no more (or less) than a privileged form of communication, to which every woman has a right, “hetero” and “homo” alike. WOMEN IN BLACK AGAINST WAR – MADRID Declare: ♀ It is both necessary and urgent to strengthen the work of education for peace from a gender perspective, which has as its goal the formation of a non-violent person who can attain fullest development and learn to resolve conflicts through negotiation. ♀ Urgent measures must be taken towards the eradication of research, production and sale of arms in order to to cease this commerce which feeds violence and conflicts that are destroying humanity....
