ANTE EL AUMENTO DEL RACISMO Y LA XENOFOBIA La Comisión Europea contra el racismo y la xenofobia señala que en España ambas actitudes persisten y que, en el debate público, se utilizan de forma generalizada argumentos e imágenes que rodean de un halo negativo a la inmigración. MUJERES DE NEGRO CONTRA LA GUERRA - DE MADRID invitamos a una reflexión personal sobre las actitudes y prejuicios en relación a la inmigración para poder vivir en la diversidad humana, desde el respeto a la diferencia; inventando nuevas formas de convivencia; aprendiendo a superar aspectos negativos que pertenecen a toda cultura, favoreciendo así el intercambio y el enriquecimiento mutuo. MUJERES DE NEGRO CONTRA LA GUERRA - DE MADRID Manifestamos nuestra oposición a la cultura de la violencia desde donde se defiende el uso de la violencia como herramienta política y se incita al odio sistemáticamente. Denunciamos el uso electoralista del conflicto que a través de la manipulación y el hostigamiento aumentan el enfrentamiento: es otra forma de violencia. Tomamos partido por valores que conduzcan a un cambio social dotándonos de actitudes críticas y protagonizando nuestra realidad social. Pedimos: ♀ Que se destine una parte de los 68,68 millones de euros dedicados diariamente al gasto de defensa en España, durante el 2008, para fomento de la paz mediante la educación, la defensa y promoción de los derechos humanos.
